Fish of the Week!

I like to feed anemones infrequently when they are hungry and reaching out for food (first image) then I give them a generous portion of raw fish or shrimp. These large Rose Bubbles we just given three bullion cube size chunks of fish.

As shown in the second image they have swollen up after taking in the food. They will stay in this contracted state until the food is digested. After this they will extend their tentacles and begin making food through photosynthesis until they stretch out seeking to be fed again.

I find that this feeding regimen results in rapid growth and future splitting.

Feeding anemones is quite easy and should be done on a regular basis.
